Highlight on Bourouiba Group’s research on Unsteady Fluid Fragmentation by Inside Science released.

Thursday, April 11, 2019

In this highlight by Inside Science in partnership with the American Institute of Physics, Prof. Bourouiba discusses how the unsteadiness, or time-variation of process, of fluid fragmentation upon impact shapes the properties and range of secondary spray droplets emitted. These findings are important for a range of applications in spray design and control, irrigation, agriculture, and health and infection control in indoor spaces.
