The Fluids and Health inaugural Conference was launched in 2019! The meeting was a great success, full of stimulating discussions at the interface of fluid dynamics and health, great intellectual exchanges between junior and senior researchers, policy makers and scientists and engineers, team projects, student and fellow presentation sessions, scientific and career development discussion panels,  and group problem solving and presentation competition, in addition to many exchanges during outing and boat tour or hands-on activities and lab demos.  Many new or strengthened collaborations took place and exciting scientific vision for a growing field was formulated.
